Marta Catellani is a 59-year-old who lives in the province of Parma and works in the school world.

The themes of her work are above all faces, and explosions of colors, executed with various painting techniques. On occasion, she only uses her fingers. Si avvicina al mondo dell’arte fin dall’ adolescenza ma rimarrà sempre una autodidatta e vivrà la pittura come un hobby. Ma è solo nella fase adulta , dopo il superamento di un periodo drammatico della sua vita che uscirà il suo vero talento : una vera e propria rinascita sia di vita che artistic. Nelle sue opere esprime gli stati d’animo che vive sulla sua pelle. Caratteristiche sempre presenti nella sue opere sono i colori vivaci che rappresentano il suo carattere gioioso e solare. I temi delle sue opere sono soprattutto volti, ed esplosioni di colori, eseguiti con varie tecnica di pittura. In qualche occasione usa solamente le dita. Il dipingere, per lei è come una danza che illumina l’anima: non a caso mentre dipinge ha sempre in sottofondo della buona musica.
