Tasha Dwhaj (born September 11th, 1988),is an Indo-Guyanese artist, producer, on-camera host, model and digital creator known for her livestream home-cooking show “Tash & Josh Kitchen,” and putting her unique POV on everything she does. Only child to Anita and Parmashwar Dwhaj, born in New Amsterdam, Guyana. Tasha spent the first 12 years of her life growing up in small agricultural village called Palmyra and attending, St. Teresa’s Primary School in the next town over. After migrating to The United States with her parents in the year 2000, Tasha continued attending Catholic School for her Junior High years, as well as High School.

While obtaining a BA in English at Queens College in New York City , Tasha dabbled in photography, dance, drama, writing and spent a great deal of time on Art History courses, but never took any art classes.

Starting with oil pastels at age 16, to play with colors, she quickly moved on to charcoal where she practiced drawing her own hands. By age 17 she started discovering her own style that was very structured, yet very abstract.

After 7 years of working on her style, while pursuing a career in Media, she is now introducing a collection with a style that is reflective of the new chapters in her life.
