Michelle Dumay, originally from sunny Southern California, now calls the Rocky Mountains of Denver, Colorado, her home. A passionate advocate for sustainability, Michelle’s journey began in the field of chemistry. However, her path shifted as she began working with Energy Glass Solar, a company dedicated to transforming the built environment using innovative, energy-generating glass. She collaborates with developers, cities, and governments to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings through cutting-edge architectural glass products, including hurricane and bullet-resistant varieties. These products not only enhance structural resilience but also contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability, helping pave the way toward a Net Zero or Carbon Positive future. Outside of her professional life, Michelle finds inspiration in her role as a mother.

She has two children: her son who is gifted and her daughter, who is a “special gift” born with medical complexities and having undergone over 20 surgeries. This personal experience shapes Michelle’s drive to create a better world for future generations, especially those living with disabilities. Her ultimate goal is to end housing insecurity and build sustainable homes, particularly for those facing infrastructure challenges.

In five years, Michelle envisions a world where housing instability is a thing of the past. Her current partnerships with commercial glass supplier Energy Glass Solar and residential builder Solar Home Builders focuses on creating commercial assets and affordable, sustainable homes, respectively, that generate their own electricity. Through her work, Michelle seeks to unlock human potential and provide stable commercial and living environments for communities. Beyond her professional pursuits, Michelle enjoys traveling, savoring good food with loved ones, and gazing at the stars, always driven by her love for family and her hope for a more sustainable future.
