Elena Bullo was born in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD), lives and works in Latisana (UD), and has attended various courses in painting, the human figure, and fresco at the studio of the master Sergio Favotto with Artemisia in Pozzuolo del Friuli (UD) and Udine. Art teacher at the University of the Third Age of Latisana as a volunteer. The artist is mainly known for her works that represent the theme of the “Sea”. There are many publications in catalogs, yearbooks, art magazines, and newspapers; the artist receives special awards and is of notable artistic value, we remember the Oscar of art received in 2022 in NICE.
The artist has participated in numerous collective exhibitions with the Verum Association of the Marche, and many reviews have been written by gallery owners Mauro Giampieri and Marianna Jurkova. Between the exhibitions organized by the Verum association in which the artist participated include: the collective Venice – Lerici Castle (SP) – Vatican State in Rome – Bratislava Castle in AUSTRIA – Sarzana (SP) – Montecosaro (MC). The artist Elena Bullo has won many awards by participating in several competitions.

In creating her works, the painter is inspired by musical melodies, each work is created by listening
to different music. The works are inspired by classical and minimalist music which has its roots in
ancient medieval music and Gregorian chants. Elena Bullo listening to the melody elaborates a painting of her personal stylistic technique which leads to the generation of different forms, real and abstract, of a chromatic explosion full of brightness that defines the repeated rhythmic times of the songs listened to. The work “La musica” was created by the artist Elena Bullo listening to the song by Ludovico Einaudi entitled “Experience”.

Elena Bullo’s works are made with different materials and techniques, and the recurring themes are
water and nature. Life is born in water and the artist pursues its irresistible strength by associating it with emotion and intuition. By carefully observing the sea, the artist perceives its changes that it pours onto the surface pictorial, bringing out a visual story that reflects his interiority. Her desire to capture an emotion, which is born in the perpetual movement of the waves, is instinctively reproduced through a contemplative preparation of a profound gaze which, through the use of its technical mastery and colorist, gives form and magical observations.
Her works on canvas, often in large format, are naturalistic in nature, the artist highlights the strength of the environment, of water, taking up the thread of lyrical abstraction where color is testimony to a very deep internal resonance. The works involve a large mystical space surrounded by light ephemeral, where there is a linear, vertical, and horizontal configuration aimed at creating a field chromatic rich in tones and shades. Elena Bullo’s work is material and oriented toward research that identifies the relationship between visible and invisible.
