Fourth generation in business, Mr. Hashmi comes from a noble family of service leaders whose reputation precedes him in the Middle East and USA region. Born and raised in the thriving city of Lahore, he extensively travelled across the world and ultimately settled in Dubai, UAE. Since 1995, they partnered in a trading business in Dubai whilst they were still one of the leading stock brokers in Pakistan. During 2003, they ventured into the real estate sector of Dubai while Shafaat still completing his education. He was guided by his father to learn and take job experience in the corporate sector after his MBA prior to taking the reigns of their family office. He worked with leading multinational corporations including Levi Strauss & Co, Fakhruddin Holdings, a family office in the UAE and finally he served as the founding team member as Director for Marketing and Business Development at one of the leading real estate firms, Range Developments.

During 2013, he became terribly sick with chronic vertigo which laid him to bed for over two years, paralyzed to walk, drive, fly or sit in an office chair. This was his moment when he laid the foundation of his investment firm, Stalliongates Investments and pushed forward Brandbeat Global to scale internationally. Shafaat is known globally for his business acumen and winning business strategies. He has this unique skill and clarity to look into a business case and instantly come up with creative business solutions by fixing the business model and commercial marketing strategy. Shafaat has been one of the leading investors in over 17 women led businesses and startups. He currently holds a position as a board member in 29 startups and is planning to launch a dedicated venture accelerator backed up by his fund to scale his portfolio to reach 100 businesses. He has successfully executed 17 exits over the past 3 decades and have served over 250 clients, working with family offices, high net-worth individuals, celebrities investment firms, accredited investors, founders and entrepreneurs. Shafaat has served directly or indirectly across 12 business sectors but his core focus remains in real estate, healthcare, education, social media platforms, fintech, fashion and renewable energy. In each of these sectors he has not only invested directly or through his funds but he is actively involved at a strategic level with his partners to scale these businesses and create winning brands. Furthermore, he has been raising capital and executed private equity deals for a wide spectrum of his clients globally with over USD 500M AUM.
