Sophia Valentine is a No.1 Amazon Bestselling Author of 9 books, available Worldwide! From Birmingham, she has lived not only in London, and Ibiza, but also Dubai too. She received an offer from many publishers, including the World’s biggest publisher – Harper Collins, for her very FIRST book! She has attended many books signings, alongside famous authors, in England, Birmingham, Blackpool, London, and even had an invite to sign in Las Vegas. Her books have over 1,000 online reviews, and are available at Walmart, iBooks, Amazon, Barnes&Noble, Goodreads and more.
She has had a passion for writing for as long as she can remember. In her school days, her favorite lesson was English literature of which she also studied at College, as well as Law, obtaining Diplomas. She then worked as a Legal Executive. In 2012, after a vacation in the Balearic Islands, Ibiza, she decided to move there permanently. She also wrote for a popular printed/digital newspaper: The Ibizan, sold in over 200 stores.
Having already had many manuscripts left unfinished on her laptop, (as well as her day job,) she finally finished her first books – The Black Door Trilogy. She received offers from many book publishers, some being the World’s biggest. However, wanting her books in print, as well as eBook, at that time, she signed with a U.S publisher. In 2017 her books were finally published, and some even in stock in American bookstores!

To date, Sophia has 9 books published, and has participated in anthologies alongside other authors. Her novels are mainly fiction: romance, thriller and suspense.
She loves participating in book signings and meeting her readers. One in particular came all the way from Australia to meet her favorite authors, Sophia being one of them. This brings her immense joy.
Her first book ‘His Confession,’ hit number 1 on Amazon in it’s category, including book 2 and 3 ‘His and Her Confession,’ hitting the top 100! She then had another 3 books within the top 100, 2 of which included anthologies.
Sophia also began a book, fashion, travel and lifestyle blog in 2015, where she reviewed books, provided writing tips, shared fashion, and also included recommendations on countries, and places to visit, (her other passion,) and general lifestyle articles.
She gets her inspiration from people she meets, places she visits, something she sees or reads, and visualises many ideas. Some of her novels have also been based loosely on true stories, where she has created a different version.

Writing, for her, is extremely organised. The preparation can take weeks or months as she strives for perfection. She begins with an idea, writes the blurb, character biographies, and researches anything required so facts are correct, and then finalises chapter breakdowns. She ensures, as required with every book, that there is a main character goal, and an obstacle preventing them from reaching the goal, whether that’s a person, place, situation, or a character trait within themselves. She ensures every little detail is covered, from the characters upbringing, their appearance, personality, and surroundings.
She hopes to not only entertain her readers, but to also touch their emotions, whether it’s a gripping scene, or heartbreaking. One thing she will never do is rush a book, hence why she usually has many unfinished on her laptop for even years.

In December 2021, wanting a new challenge and experience, Sophia moved to Dubai. She took a break from her writing to work full time, and explore the beautiful UAE. With its stunning, futuristic buildings, bright lights, and plenty of character, Sophia has once again been inspired to begin a new book, as well as finalise her pending novels.
She has no idea where her permanent home is yet, but hopes to have fun along the way, and have experiences that are book-worthy. One quote she particularly loves is, ‘Do more of what sets your soul on fire,’ and for her, writing brings happiness. Her advice is for everyone to do something they enjoy daily, or at least weekly, whether that be a hobby, sport, music, sightseeing, being around nature, taking time out alone, or being around people they admire. What is life if not for enjoyment? Work hard, and play harder. And also, FOLLOW your dream!
