Master Sergio Rapetti is an Italian artist, painter, sculptor, also a bit  poet and philosopher, born in the 1944 in Acqui Terme (AL), 

He has more than 55 years of work  both as an employee and as a professional artist in specific artistic activity as a painter, sculptor and writer from the 1999 to 2019; Sergio Rapetti is about among  5,500 Italian artists, painters, sculptors or in both disciplines born from the beginning of 1900 to today.

Self-taught.

He began his artistic works of oil painting on canvas in 1984, his paintings, whether with thick paint or not, are executed exclusively on canvas with oil paint without the addition of other substances and with the same paint they are always signed with the date of the year in the lower right corner and on the back.

His painting works mainly range between the figurative and the recognizable impressionistic abstract.

Since the nineties he has also begun to dedicate himself to wood sculpture, his works are carved on a single piece of wood with his tools which are gouges and hammer and can also be requested individually in bronze or marble and in the desired size; he also writes poetries and published monographic and philosophical books.

Some works of paintings and sculptures have connected the important philosophical meaning, they are worth mentioning:

the paintings For a historical memory “American Indians” and “Desert Bedouins” “For World Peace” “Thoughts” “Virus” “Towards the Future”, the sculptures “Pope John Paul II” “Jesus on the Cross”, among the philosophical poems “The Liberty” “Passport of Light” and the philosophical book entitled “QUI! La Luce. Here! The Light”.

Il Maestro Sergio Rapetti è un Artista Italiano, Pittore, scultore anche un po’poeta e filosofo nato nel 1944 ad  Acqui Terme (AL)

Ha al suo attivo più di 55 anni di lavoro sia come dipendente che come Artista professionista in attività artistica specifica  di pittore, scultore e scrittore dal 1999 al 2019; Sergio Rapetti risulta tra i circa 5.500 artisti italiani pittori, scultori o in entrambe le discipline nati dall’inizio del 1900 ad oggi.

Autodidatta. 

Ha iniziato i suoi lavori artistici di pittura ad olio su tela nel 1984, i suoi dipinti siano essi con pittura spessa o meno, sono eseguiti esclusivamente su tela con pittura ad olio senza aggiunta di altre sostanze e con la stessa pittura sono sempre firmati con la data dell’anno nell’angolo inferiore destro e a retro.  

Le sue opere di pittura spaziano principalmente tra il figurativo e l’astratto impressionistico riconoscibile.

Dagli anni novanta ha iniziato a dedicarsi anche alla scultura su legno, le sue opere sono scolpite su un unico pezzo di legno con i suoi attrezzi che sono sgorbie e martello e possono anche essere richieste singolarmente in bronzo o in marmo e nella misura desiderata; inoltre scrive poesie e pubblicato libri monografici e filosofici.

La Luce. Here! The Light”.
